Listen so your clients can guide you to create exactly what they want and need

Build your business by listening to your clients (and delivering exactly what they need)

Listen to connect, co-create and customize your business with your clients in service of your clients

You’ve chosen your niche, based on who you want to help.

You’ve created your offer, based on what you think they need.

You’ve told everyone what you do and have even created a really expensive nice website and spent money on Facebook ads.

And beyond the free sessions you’ve given to family and friends, you haven’t had much work.  You’re still just another yoga teacher, reflexologist, and medicine healer in your area.

And it sucks!

All you want to do is make an abundant living, helping people with the modality that you believe in.

I am here to tell you It’s possible to make money and an impact! In fact, it’s imperative – you can’t help others if you don’t have the energetic and financial resources to sustain yourself.

My name is Staci and I am an ICF-certified InnerLifeSkills Master Coach Trainer with almost 20 years of experience and have been working as a bodyworker for 8 years and counting.  I’ve used the InnerLifeSkills 7-Step Dream Builder Process to start my life and business coaching practice, run a successful running coaching practice, start an online community for midlifers and follow my passion for bodywork with an in-person practice offering kahuna massage.

Over the years, I’ve seen many healers, coaches, therapists, practitioners, and consultants quit before they get to share their valuable and much-needed work with the many people who will benefit – all because they don’t have the hard skills you need to build an authentic business as a healing arts practitioner. (Spoiler – it doesn’t start with marketing!)

The traditional way to build a business, which is shouted out online and taught online by many a social media guru, marketing expert, or even business coach is:

  1. Define your Niche/Create your ideal client avatar
  2. Create your offer/course/signature program
  3. Launch your website/community/membership

But then I hear

I was feeling so confident and sent out a founding member launch to all 280 people and got 0 sign-ups. I’m super bummed.

I mean if I’m offering 30 days for free and nobody takes it I’m definitely doing something wrong!

I did my launch. Got 11 members then it stopped dead and I haven’t had 1 person join since, over a month ago. How do I figure out what is wrong?

“Started a membership. Marketed to my email list, social media, etc. No buyers. Took a poll of my list (just 400 people). Created a product they said they wanted. No buyers. I want to succeed in the online world but this is disappointing.

I’m suggesting another way…:

  1. Un-niche yourself to discover your ideal target market
  2. Develop and test your business offering by co-creating with the people you serve
  3. Then share and sell your solutions with sticky client conversations (script included).

This is the way to build an authentic, ethical, conscious, and of course abundant healing arts practice

You see, what you do (your modality) doesn’t really matter to your client.

How you do is important (see Skill Up if you want details on how to listen to empower, enlighten and engage your clients so they get results and your business grows)

But what you can do for your client is what they want to know.

And you can’t decide on that on your own!

You don’t get to choose who you serve – you discover who you serve by serving.

You don’t get to give them what you think they need – you listen to what they say they want and then you co-create your signature service that honours your unique gift and values their need.

And only when you have made your sales do you start to market. (And now you know your niche which is now useful for your marketing)

This is for you if

  • You’ve exhausted your network with free sessions and you aren’t getting more clients
  • You’re stuck and frustrated at the point of niche-ing down because you know what you do can help everyone
  • The way you’ve been doing it, just doesn’t feel right or isn’t giving your the results you thought it would and now you’re doubting yourself and your dream
  • Starting your practice is feeling more of a struggle than the freedom you dreamed of
  • Spending more time marketing and posting than on the work you love, and still not getting more clients
  • You’re spending so much time creating content for Instagram and your following isn’t growing.  Or your following is growing but it’s not translating to feet through the door

There is another way!

What you’ll learn that’ll make building your practice feel natural:

  • Your authentic brand value proposition is at the intersection of your purpose, product,t and the people you serve
